Vehicle Description I purchased this car about 2-1/2 years ago from the original owner.
I have admired this vehicle since it came out in the 1970's.
When I purchased this long awaited gem, it was in fair condition and needed some TLC.
I am now the second owner of this classic 1976 Mercedes Benz 450SL 2 door roadster, hard top convertible.
Since purchasing we gave this beauty many new parts, so that it runs like a champ, including a new paint job- in the original silver color, battery, alternator, tires and wheels.
It always turns heads when I drive it! It's hard not to notice this classic and stylish car.
Also offers the rag-top (pics to come), a nice cover for it and a stand for the hard top.
Specs:
Mercedes-Benz 450 SL (aut.
3) in 1976 the model with 2-door convertible body and V-8 4520 cc / 275.
8 cui engine size, 134 kW / 182 PS / 180 hp (SAE net) of power, 298 Nm / 220 lb-ft of torque, 3-speed automatic powertrain.
I am selling this Roadster because I have decided to travel across the US in my new motor home, so since I won't be home to drive it, it is now available to purchase and is ready for someone else to enjoy it.
